2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The 2021 Grand Cherokee is available in several trim levels: Laredo E, Freedom Laredo X, Limited, Limited X, Trailhawk, Overland, Altitude, Summit, SRT, and Trackhawk. This year's model also features an 80th Anniversary Edition.

Standard exterior features found on all trim levels include mirrors with a heating element, LED taillamps, a rear window wiper and washer, deep tint sunscreen glass, and acoustic windshield glass. Higher trim levels come standard with other features, such as rain-sensitive windshield wipers, exterior mirrors with memory and automatic dimming, and front LED fog lamps.

Most models come with the 3.6-liter V-6 engine, which produces 295 horsepower. The SRT model features a 6.4-liter SRT HEMI V-8 engine that delivers 475 horsepower, and the Trackhawk comes with a 6.2-liter supercharged SRT HEMI V-8 engine that puts out an impressive 707 horsepower. All three engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A 5.7-liter V-8 engine with 360 horsepower is available on select models.

The 2021 Grand Cherokee can tow up to 7,200 pounds when equipped with one of the V-8 engines. Select trims come standard with a Class IV receiver hitch and a seven- and four-pin wiring harness so you can easily tow your trailer behind the Grand Cherokee. Many models also feature tow hooks. The Trailhawk trim comes with additional off-road features, such as several skid plates and Quadra-Lift air suspension.

Nearly all Grand Cherokee trim levels are available in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive. The Trailhawk, SRT, and Trackhawk models are only available with four-wheel drive. The SRT and Trackhawk trims feature the Quadra-Trac active on-demand four-wheel drive and the Selec-Trac system, while the other trim levels come with the Quadra-Trac II four-wheel-drive system and the Select-Terrain system.

The infotainment system in the 2021 Grand Cherokee comprises Uconnect 4 with a 7-inch display or Uconnect 4C with navigation and an 8.4-inch display. This SUV also features Apple CarPlay and Google Android compatibility, Bluetooth integrated voice command, and a media hub with two USB and one auxiliary input connection. Higher trim levels come with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot, HD radio, and Blu-Ray compatible dual-screen video.

All Grand Cherokee trim levels come with active head restraints, a folding 60/40 rear seat, a pass-forward fold-flat front seat, and dual-zone air conditioning. Most trim levels also feature heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and an automatic-dimming rearview mirror. Higher trim levels come with additional comfort and convenience features, such as ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and a leather-wrapped center armrest.

The 2021 Grand Cherokee is equipped with several safety features, including trailer sway damping, ParkSense park assist with stop, ParkView rear backup camera, hill start assist, and daytime running headlamps. Additional driver-assistive features that come standard on higher trim levels include lane departure warning plus and parallel and perpendicular park assist with stop.
