The 2021 RAM 3500 is available in five trim levels: Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Limited Longhorn, and Limited. You can customize this heavy-duty truck by choosing one of the two available bed lengths, including a 6-foot, 4-inch box and an 8-foot box, along with one of the three cab types: regular, crew, or mega cab. Each trim level is also available in two-wheel and four-wheel drive.
Standard exterior features found on most trim levels include power-folding exterior mirrors with a heating element and turn signal indicators, trailer tow mirrors, LED bed lighting, and tinted glass windows.
Engine
Each trim level on the 2021 RAM 3500 is equipped with a heavy-duty 6.4-liter HEMI engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Performance
Towing and hauling capacities vary based on the Ram model's particular combination of features. The standard 6.4-liter HEMI engine is capable of towing up to 18,210 pounds and hauling 7,680 pounds. With gooseneck towing, the high-output 6.7-liter Cummins engine is capable of towing up to 37,100 pounds, thanks to Ram's new heavy-duty frame and redesigned fifth-wheel hitch. Maximum conventional towing tops out at 23,000 pounds.
