Meet the 2020 Jeep Renegade

2020 Jeep Renegade | Bob Ruwart Motors Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
Shopping for a compact crossover gives you many choices, but one of the leading brands behind the earliest SUVs is Jeep. It's no surprise that their offerings are among the best when it comes to versatility, utility, and style. Take a look at the 2020 Renegade, an appealing model in the Jeep lineup that delivers a long list of features in an affordable package.

Exterior Styling

From the outside, the 2020 Jeep Renegade shows off a unique and eye-catching body style. It combines a boxy shape with an aggressive front end to produce an SUV that looks different from other models in the segment. Standard exterior equipment includes heated and power-adjustable side mirrors, 16-inch steel wheels, and halogen headlights. With some of the higher trims, you can get additional features like LED lighting, automatic headlights, larger wheels, and automatic wipers. If you plan to take your Renegade off the beaten path, the Trailhawk trim level will be the best choice. It comes standard with 17-inch wheels equipped with all-terrain tires, a raised suspension, underbody skid plates, a full-size spare tire, and tow hooks.

Cabin Features

Inside the cabin of the 2020 Renegade, you'll find appealing materials that feel soft to the touch. Even the base model comes with an adjustable driver's seat, manual climate control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, cloth upholstery, a fold-flat passenger seat, and a removable floor panel revealing a cargo area underneath. This model also includes a six-speaker audio system with a 5-inch touch screen, a USB port, and Bluetooth connectivity. Although Jeep vehicles are known for their utility, the Renegade is also available with high-end features for a more luxurious driving experience. On the tech side, options include an 8.4-inch touch screen, navigation, and an upgraded driver information display. Comfort features include leather upholstery, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and ambient interior lighting.

Power and Performance

The 2020 Renegade comes standard with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 175 pound-feet of torque and 180 horsepower. It works with a nine-speed automatic transmission. If you want more power, choose either the Limited or Trailhawk trim to get a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. This unit produces 210 pound-feet of torque and 177 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional on all models but the Trailhawk. This off-road-ready trim is only available with Jeep's four-wheel-drive system that includes low-range settings and hill descent control.

High-End Safety

When equipped with optional safety equipment, the 2020 Renegade is an IIHS Top Safety Pick. This optional equipment includes LED projector headlights and forward collision warning. However, those aren't the only features available to keep you safe. The available Safety and Security package adds blind-spot monitoring and a vehicle alarm, while the Advanced Technology package bundles automatic high beams, automatic braking, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, an automated parking system, and adaptive cruise control. Meet the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee

When Jeep first designed the Grand Cherokee, the goal was to create an SUV that offers both luxury and versatility with plenty of room for passengers. With the 2022 edition, not only have they accomplished that mission yet again, but they've surpassed expectations by also including incredible performance options, intelligent safety monitoring systems, and razor-sharp technology throughout the cabin. The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee is clearly a cut above other SUVs and this guide should help to explain why. Phenomenal Performance Two fuel engines are available for the Grand Cherokee, a 3.6-liter V6 with 293 horsepower and a 357-horsepower 5.7-liter V8, as well as a 2.0-liter hybrid option with 375 horses. The V8 delivers best-in-class towing with a max out at 7,200 pounds, while the V6 offers as much as 6,200 pounds. Even the fuel-efficient hybrid has a surprisingly strong rating, with up to 6,000 pounds of available strength. Both 4x2 and 4x4 are offered with this SUV, depending on which trim levels you go with. For 4x4 models, off-road adventures are enhanced by both the Selec-Terrain Management System and three different 4x4 systems - Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive. more A Posh, High-Class Interior Inside the Grand Cherokee's cabin, you'll find a spacious, yet plush interior setting with room for up to seven friends or family members, both two- and three-row configurations, and 84.6 cubic feet of cargo space in the three-row models. As for seating, multiple fabric choices are available including cloth, suede, Capri leather, and Nappa leather and many different color options can be chosen, such as Global Black, Steel Gray, and Wicker Beige. There are also heated and ventilated seating options, as well as a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and a quad-zone climate control system. Trailblazing Technology With Uconnect 5, you can control vehicle settings including temperature controls, toggle through music playlists, and connect to available streaming and subscription services, such as SiriusXM radio and Amazon Fire TV. With 19-speakers, including a 10-inch subwoofer, the 950-watt McIntosh sound system is a feature that has to be heard to be believed, as it can give even older songs the rich, high-quality sound they deserve. You and your passengers can also connect to the internet when inside or around the vehicle with the available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, which allows for multiple simultaneous connections. Full-Time Safety Monitoring Many of the Grand Cherokee's standard and available safety features have been designed with the latest radar-based technology. With the Night Vision feature, infrared sensors scan a 328-foot area in front of your vehicle to detect pedestrians or animals that you may not otherwise be able to see. For daytime driving, the 360-degree Surround View Camera captures different angles around your vehicle as live feeds, which can be useful when parking or driving off-road. Then there's Intersection Collision Assist and Blind Spot Monitoring, which can both warn you of nearby vehicles before you make a turn or change lanes. Not many SUVs can handle dirt trails with the same impressive performance that they exhibit while driving on highways or towing trailers.
