Your Chrysler is a great investment, and maintaining it requires regular servicing. As your Chrysler dealership in Wheatland, WY, we have a huge variety of services available to keep your Chrysler in perfect working condition. We’d like to tell you more about some of the services we can offer you and your car.

Transmission Services

The transmission is the second most important component in your car after the engine. The two components operate symbiotically, as the engine produces power, and the transmission directs that power to the wheels. The transmission is very strong, but it’s filled with hundreds of components that require regular servicing to keep them working at their best.

When we service your transmission, we check and replace its transmission fluid. This fluid is essential for your transmission, as it provides friction resistance, produces hydraulic power to shift the gears, and helps to control the internal temperature. We replace the transmission filter and clean the casing to prevent dirt from entering and damaging the gears and other components.

Radiator and Cooling System Services

Your engine operates at a high temperature of 185 F to 220 F. This temperature allows it to operate efficiently, but the excess heat it produces must be removed. If heat is allowed to build up in your engine, increasing temperatures can damage some of the engine’s most vital components. Gaskets, cylinders, and pistons can be permanently damaged by overheating.

If your car’s temperature is rising, there’s a fault with the cooling system. Our Chrysler-trained technicians will examine the radiator, hoses, and other parts of the system to determine the precise cause of the problem. A cracked radiator, worn hoses, or a coolant leak are just some of the possible reasons for an increasing engine temperature. Once we’ve identified the problem, we can repair it.

Starter Motor Repair

The starter motor cranks your engine. The cranking action starts the combustion process and your engine will come to life. This motor is powered by a powerful electrical charge sent born the battery. The most common problem with a starter motor is a damaged starter solenoid. The solenoid receives the charge from the battery, and this activates the starter motor.

A damaged solenoid will receive a charge, but it won’t activate the starter, and the engine won’t start. You can tell if the solenoid is damaged if you don’t hear a slight click when you try to start your car. We’ll examine the motor and replace the solenoid if it’s damaged. If the starter motor itself has failed, we can install a new one to fix the problem.
