We’re glad you’re visiting our town of Wheatland, WY. We may be small, but we know good food. And we know where to go when we need to get the day started off right. For the most important meal, try one of the following breakfast places that will fuel you up for your busy day.

1. Western Sky’s Family Diner

Conveniently located just off Highway 25, this is a locals’ favorite. Relax in the classic dining room and enjoy the unique decor, great service, generous portions, and affordable prices. The friendly servers are attentive and bring you traditional dishes, such as biscuits and gravy, eggs and potatoes, and omelets. We also like the country fried steak, Texas french toast special, or the meat, egg, and cheese sandwich. They serve delicious homemade pies as well, so order one to take home with you!

2. Tasty Treats

For some of the best breakfast in the area, visit this eatery. We recommend the smothered burrito with green chile, the prime rib omelet, the pancake platter, or biscuits and gravy. Be sure to grab a dozen homemade donuts on your way out as well. The service is outstanding and friendly and the food is decently priced.

3. Twisters Eatery and B&B

Just a few miles away is Twisters, which specializes in home cooking and fresh food. They also make their baked goods from scratch. Try their veggie omelet or eggs benedict. For sweets, we recommend the lemon loaf and the butter tarts.

The cafe itself is adorable and a great place to relax. They even offer a catering service, and they have a private dining room for birthday parties, meetings, or family gatherings. Stay right here in a cozy room and enjoy a delicious meal first thing in the morning.

4. Maverik Adventure’s First Stop

For a quick bite in between errands, this is a great place for all things breakfast. From the Lumber Jack’d bowl, biscuits and gravy bowl, pulled pork and egg taco, cheese and egg taco, sausage, egg, and cheese French toast sandwich, egg and cheese pizza, countryside sausage burrito, and steak nachos, you’ll find a little bit of pretty much everything you can imagine. Grab a cinnamon roll as well to top off your hearty meal.

5. Big A

This is a small, cozy restaurant that offers standard items, such as country fried steak, bacon and sausage omelets, French toast, and pancakes. We appreciate the helpful servers, who are always wearing a smile. Enjoy a mimosa as you browse the selections. Please remember to drink responsibly and in moderation. Do not drink and drive. Alcohol is for adults of legal drinking age only.
