The 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is one of the most anticipated SUVs of the year. While it is not yet available, here are a few things that we do know about it so far:

Powerful Design

At first glance, it might seem like a Hellcat in the form of a sports car is coming your way. But, as it gets closer, you will notice the traditional design of the popular SUV, the Dodge Durango. Many of its features resemble the Durango you’re used to, with the addition of racing stripes across the front. The inside is modern and comfortable, with premium leather materials and ample cabin space. Third-row seating also means each passenger has plenty of room to sit back and enjoy the thrilling drive.

It wouldn’t be a Dodge without the latest technologies incorporated into the design. The Durango Hellcat will come with the Uconnect 3 driver infotainment system. This includes the ability to sync your phone to your screen with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Muscle-Powered

The 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat combines the spaciousness of an SUV with the power of a sports car. This will be the most powerful and fastest Durango ever made with an impressive, supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine with 710 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque. This engine will be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission for some impressive performance capabilities.

This power setup can reach high speeds in a short amount of time, going from zero to 60 miles per hour (mph). in just 3.5 seconds. It will be capable of completing the quarter-mile race in 11.5 seconds at an impressive speed of 118 mph. with a top speed of 180 mph. With all this power comes the highly anticipated roar of the engine. If you’re the type of driver who enjoys hearing a vehicle before seeing it, then you will definitely enjoy the Durango Hellcat. With X-pipe crossovers and a larger rear bumper, you can easily show off your muscle.

Sporty Performance

This high-performance SUV will allow you to explore the open road on your next adventure, while also giving you enough power for an exciting drive. With 20.0-inch wheels and Pirelli upgraded Scorpion all-season tires, you have plenty of traction to reach top speeds and tackle more difficult road conditions. Summer tires are also available if you intend to drive your new Durango only in summer weather conditions. Other performance improving features in the Durango Hellcat include upgraded Brembo brakes and larger-sized brake rotors. The single-speed all-wheel-drive system will also assist with rainy or snowy weather.

Additional Perks

Being one of the few drivers on the road with the Hellcat-powered SUV is not the only exclusive perk that you will receive. All buyers will also get a full day of driving training at the Bondurant High-Performance Driving School. You can also use the Durango Hellcat to tow your recreational items, up to a maximum of 8,700 pounds.

We can expect the Dodge Durango to be in dealerships in early 2021, with a limited number released. In the meantime, come by Bob Ruwart Motors CDJR today to check out Dodge vehicles.
