They are open from 10 AM until 2 AM from Tuesday through Saturday and are closed on Sunday and Monday. If you choose to go in, you won’t regret that choice, either. They have wonderful service, and the chef will even make you something that’s not on the menu if things aren’t terribly busy.
We highly recommend their burgers and fries, which are always worth ordering. They do excellent wings and pizza, mac & cheese, and even a delicious steak that you won’t want to miss. When you call, be sure to ask what their bakery has been up to lately. They always have some really good baked goods, particularly their cupcakes. Oh, did we mention the chili? Try the chili.
Western Sky’s Family Diner
Western Sky’s is found at 86 16th St. here in Wheatland, and you can call them at 307-322-9302. They don’t do delivery themselves, but you can’t get delivery through Postmates. They’re open from 6 AM until 8 PM every day but Sunday. On Sunday, they close a little bit earlier at 1 PM. The spot is known for its great service, large portions, low prices, and friendly staff.
It’s also unfailingly clean, and it’s a very popular breakfast spot. If you’re ordering later in the day, which most people do, we recommend getting one of their dinners. These are each served with two sides, and options include roast beef, chicken strips, beer-battered cod, shrimp, and more. They also do lots of great hot sandwiches. Available sides include potatoes in all forms, from tots to mashed to steak fries, cottage cheese, apples, salad options, and lots more.
